btw taking opinions on what to do (if anything) with my grills? this goes for the lower front bumper as well as kidneys and upper hood... considering gloss black upper hood and kidney grills... not set on it though.

also removing roof rails? blacking out X5 badge on rear and rear roundel holder?

My car is black. When I blacked out my grills, it blended in too much. Looked stupid. Like the hood dissapeared and the bumper got bigger. It was strange. I'm back to the titanium ones.

Exactly what I saw when I blacked mine out.

Yea I understand what you guys are saying...I'm partial to leaving as is right now. Looks aggressive yet not overly tricked out. Maybe go with the 3.0 grills? Can't decide.

Here's what it'd look like if you plastidipped your kidney slats & lower grills matte black.

I do like the titanium grills on the facelifts, not a big fan of em on pre-fl. though.

Finally got the new spark plugs installed this morning. When I got home from work on Thursday I started to put the new ones in, well the rubber piece at the bottom of the one ignition coil decided it liked it better in the plug hole. I worked on getting it out for like 2 hours and no luck, finally got it out Friday evening. The rubber seemed almost dry rotted and I had to destroy it to get it out so I just had Autozone order me a new ignition coil yesterday. The plugs that were in it looked pretty bad... I'm finding that the previous owners didn't do much maintenance to her.

Wow DTM thanks so much for the photoshop! While the black looks good to me it dulls the front end too much. Think I'll leave as is!

Well... The work was completed while I was away so I'm just getting around to posting pics but "today" I had my seats recovered. Wish I'd have taken b4 pics of the cracked leather ripped in two different spots (thanks True Religion). I took it back to have the center console done too bc as u can see in a couple of pics it looked totally out of place.

Oh and I guess at some point I also added a slimline bass box that adds a nice balance to my sound system while sacrificing virtually no space (my center rear armrest is rarely used).
