Didnt use any kit, I have done the one in my E36M3 so I just ordered the individual parts. The slider that is on the front end of the long arm is normally what breaks and some times the rear slider but not often, but those come with the little nylon square things that hold the rear of that arm in so I get those too.

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking of ordering the kit, but maybe I will just take it apart and see what I need to order. Fortunately I live in the desert where it hardly ever rains.

This is all for the standard roof, if you have the pano, I know nothing as I will never own one with
The kits seem to come with a lot of parts that never break or need replacing.
The slider circled is almost always broken and the white thing circled is worn out. 1 generally doesnt break and there is another piece that slides behind that on the E53 that doesnt break. I have seen #2 the plastic cap that has tabs bend/break, but you dont need the whole metal arm. as for the rest, not needed. Although I did find that there is a moulded on rubber retainer to the metal arm(right side of pic to the forward end) that had detached from the arm, but was able to fix that.

I wished I could find a good video of disassembly showing the sun shade moving but havent had luck.

Nope full interior/exterior, to include tires and wheels. They also leave an air freshener, tissues and wrap the floormats.

Trash bag, tissue in a tube and armor-all wipes for anything that needs it before next wash date.
