Gotta do what you gotta do. Mine has had minimal issues, and I wouldn't trade it. It was one of the reasons I wanted this X.

I loved the system for years. If you have ista and can program the module successfully it would be fine. But with the foxwell I could not figure out how to reset the offset counters on the sensors so my front left corner was reading in the negative. Tried a new OE sensor with the same result.. So had a constant front end droop after a few days.

The system itself is very simple. It's the programming that makes it a beast to work on. The final straw for me was hearing the module can deflate the front bags while driving enough to destroy the front axles. No thanks.

I received my second BMW Scanner OBDII adapter, this one with the legitimate FTDI chip, and my PA soft finally works! I am super excited. The first thing I did was to get rid of the annoying beep when I lock or unlock the doors. The second thing I did was to determine that I could have fixed my EWS/DME synchronization issue with PA soft if I had had it working a week ago. Oh well, lesson learned.

Today i installed my XTRON 10.25 radio .
Here is a image . Everything works from the steering wheel controls to the GPS . I’m still learning what’s what but the radio itself is pretty straight forward .

This week:

New transmission output speed sensor, pan filter, and new fluid
New rear suspension update including air springs
New front end suspension update
New water cooled alternator
New water pump
New coolant hoses
New transmission cooler
New thermostat
New coolant pipes
New valley pan and gasket
New timing chain and guides
Removed intake air muffler and installed short ram
New front passenger door carrier (I was lazy and left it broken for months)
New windows clips on all doors
New spring loaded bump stops on the upper tailgate to replace the old "screw" type
New tires and alignment
Ordered BlueBus box for an update to telephony and streaming
Installed new LCD on my stock Navi unit as there were blown pixels
Ordered two new front leather seat bottom covers from new old-stock shop...YAY!
Ordered OEM rubber floor mats and an aftermarket rubber cargo area mat

Still need to tear out the center console as the shutter on the cup holder broke last week. BOO

Still need to thoroughly clean the engine bay and detail the interior and exterior.

To add stainless running board covers...or not? Thoughts from you all?

I think I'll take a break for a bit after these last few things.

Trying to salvage the DINAN mats that came with my 4.6. The driver side was a salty wreck. May take the to a cleaner/tailor and see if they can clean them better and restitch around the edges...Name: 20200612_223501.jpg

Call you local carpet sales shop and see if they can put a new "binding" on it.

Recently replaced front thrust arm bushings with powerflex and just fixed transfer case actuator with rebuild kit. No more trifecta lights.
