How is roadnoise on the Duelers.....

Been looking at tires, and just short of 2-3mm less tread versus SUV tread depth starting at 11/32, I'm VERY tempted to just order a set of PS2's for summers...

Very satisfied going from older OEM Michelin's to fresh Dueler HP Sport Non-Runflats. Less road noise, softer ride, without any loss of feeling feedback. Even with the 10.5's up front, there is less road noise than 9.5's with Michelin's. When I shopped around for the four 315/35/20's, I found the best pricing here:

Roadway Wholesale Tire - Bridgestone Dueler HP Sport (Non-RFT)

My cost was shy of $1,000, and the guys over there have great customer service. Now, the Bridgestone's have a wide cross-section compared to other 315/35's, so I'm monitoring center wear on the 10.5's. On the plus side, they are steamrollers.

Happy hunting!

edit: To add, the 275/40 is a better fit for the 9.5, so I wouldn't be as concerned with center wear up front on Bridgestones if that still applied in my case.

Same here, totally satisfied with the Duelers. Wear has been excellent as well, just make sure to get 4 wheel alignment.

I've used alot of tires on always prefer the combo of the PS/2 for summer performance. It's does everything I want in wet and dry.....my only issue is $ to tread ratio but eh.....

RFT or non RFT?

Question for those who have good experience with their Dueler's, are you running the non-RFTs? I hear the RFTs are noisy and stiff

Thanks!

Im about to get these tires but the non-RFTs dont look like they are low profile as they are for the RFTs on the TR site. Am I missing something?

I do have non-rft Dueller HP Summer and they are low profile(bought from tire rack). Great traction in wet too, I have also used them (sparingly) in the tri-state snow storms and they've been ok (did'nt have to buy winter tires - which i thought i'd have too).

From the stock michelin's I think they'r a lot quieter and similar performance.
