This happened last year to mine. Got the ribbon in the headunit off, cleaned and then re-seated. Then, I did the connectors on the TV-Module (blue and white), cleaned the pins.
Has worked this long... |

BTW: I noticed that my monitor seems to turn yellow, whenever the temperature inside the car reaches a certain level. I might be wrong, but it constantly happens after 30min driving with the heating on.. :-P

Lots of people complained that they thought that maybe the screen issues were related to weather and even I did at first but I am certain now that mine was caused by the ribbons cables at the back of the screen. Mine been okay ever since
