How do i get the 4.6i exhaust sound on my 4.4i?
I know it may need an upgrade but what route is ideal?

on mine

on my truck i removed the res and put in x pipe sounds beautiful and cold start up as well at speed.. i think also changing the mufflers would help too. but the xpipe was inexpensive and sounds great i got a $30.00 one from amazon

you cut out resonater on the passanger side and replace it with xpipe and they will also put like about a foot of extra pipe to make up for the extra space local muffler place did it took like an hour and was cheap

I have a Remus catback, it sounds great. Very deep and throaty, but not obnoxious in the cabin.

I'm wondering, if you remove the resonator...cause the dam thing is HUGE.....and put a small resonator with better flow.....if that would work good and not be as loud as an x-pipe? Anyone every try that?

I drive a 4.6is, is the sound between a 4.4 and a 4.6 that different? A guy in my neighborhood drives a 4.4 and it sure sounds good to me when I hear him drive by.

Where's the best place to buy an x pipe and does anyone recommend installers in NJ? I'm ready to make moves on this.
