*NEW PICS* 4.4 w/ FULL 4.8is Front, Rear, Flares, Window Trim, lowered & Exhaust tips

Hi guys,

Long story short, my wife and I were in a small accident, some guy ran a red light and made an illegal right turn into our car. With the car having to go in for body work, it finally gave me the motivation to get all my exterior work done. All the work was done at a certified BMW body shop; Patrick BMW collision center, they even gave me a 2011 5 series to drive while the work was being done. I love the way the 4.8is looks but also love the meteor grey that the car came in (and to my knowledge doesn't come in 4.8is in the states) so here was the next best thing...

Here's the list of new mods:
Oem 4.8is full front bumper
Oem rear bumper
Oem 4.8is exhaust tips
Oem matte black window trim

Previously done:
Lemans SE front & rear fender arches
KW coilovers
Oem sport struts and tightened suspect and alignment
Oem style 166 wheels
Oem RBs

Sorry for the lack of side profile pic as the pics were forwarded to me by the dealer. When I pick it up tomorrow I'll take better ones...Let me know what you guys think...

Nice upgrade.

What made you want to get matt trim and (Lemans edition) rear -lower- flares in stead of the normal 4.8is look? Looks unique in a way.

None-the-less.. Amazing job!

So jelly of that color! I looked high and low for it.... had to settle for the light grey.... that everyone has.

Thanks- Naz, Jordo & Tri!

Matyoka- I agree I think a 'nicely' done X5 can give a RR sport and Cayenne a run for their money, aesthetics-wise.

Dking- thanks man! Actually bought the LM SE arches before the kit, not thinking I was going to do the whole 4.8 'look'. I think they may have been a little cheaper with the running boards...Chose the matte window trim rather than semi gloss/gloss bc It matched the matte moldings, arches and roof rack. With no gloss black I thought the trim might look out of place and from what I've read its harder to maintain.

The e53 looks way better than either an RR or a Cayenne....

The Cayenne to me looks pregnant, nothing like the timeless design of the Carrera. It has improved a lot over the years but it still looks bloated. The RR design is from the 70s! Compare it to the original RR design and it basically looks the same with a few tweaks.

I like the RR Sport and I would buy a pepper GTS in a heart beat but the Xs are way ahead on design.
