96,000 miles on '05 3.0i. Bought it a month or so ago. Had to have pan gasket and power steering hose replaced. Lovin' it though.

125,432 kms as at today on my 2006 4.4 Stirling Grey over Black, with almost every option. Bought the car two months ago after looking at many others. Replaced brake pads front & rear, new wheels & tyres, serviced transmission, cleaned interior, cleaned interior again and then a third time (damn dog hair is everywhere from previous owner's mut), second hand (from wrecking yard) cargo area cover (not easy to find), new wipers front & rear, new Varta battery, new smoked LED tail lights, new bully tow receiver step in OEM hitch. Tomorrow's tasks: replace climate control button panel (and clean noisy circuit board fan), install adapter cable with 3.5mm outlet to NAV stereo aux-in (for iPhone/iPod), then drain and top-up ATF again (to flush more old fluid out).
Love the drive, but still have a big list of things to get this car back to my standard (the previous owner was negligent, to say the least). I'm not anally retentive, but do take pride and care for my possessions.

Another milestone today, and time for an oil change and brake fluid flush as well!

The High mileage King! Congrats on keeping her running through the top end of life expectancy. Mostly Highway mileage?
I think your X5 is a great example of long trips make for happy vehicles and owners.

Keep her rolling!

Around 135K here (2001 3.0). 30,000 of those miles were put on in one year! In all those miles, the only repair was a Vanos line......that's it! Everything else functions like brand new and has zero issues.

Does it say somewhere the E53 should die at some number of miles?
