Headlights working, but display shows error for both?

Hi everyone, a couple of days ago I started to get red warning/error lights for both my headlights , but they both are working. Fog lights are working too.

Any idea what this could be?

I searched but all posts I came across were with regards to HID retrofits. Mine are just regular non-hid lights, on 2005 3.0i

Any suggestions including any links to related discussions would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: it ended up being the light for one side of the angel eyes being burnt out. Here is another similar thread by another user, in which I posted a few pictures on how to change the angel eye and what to get from ebay: http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...-went-out.html

Just on the dashboard, the display shows two red lights in front of the car, as in burnt out headlight.

Thanks.

thanks killcrap, I will look at those.

Also, I noticed that the error comes on only when the lights go on (automatic mode or manually), during night time or if I drive into a dark underground parking. During the day time, when the lights are off, the error doesn't show up. I thought perhaps the problem might be with the sensor for auto-on or something.
