This is just a bulb swap and doesn't require headlight removal. Therefore, no bumper drop is required.

These are the V5s, but the VXX are suppose to be even brighter (still waiting on mine).

Not the greatest pictures, but these will give you a sense of what it's like now. I think the V5s are pretty bright already, actually.

@Aceman, no you do not need to drop the bumper. There is a cap at where you just pull off, put your hand in and twist out the angel eyes.

Glad to see you appreciated the pictures.
No problem for the cold... it was snowing and everything is white today, X-drive conditions

Next time I take the truck at night, I will try to remember to take the camera with me to snap a picture or two. But when I drove it yesterday night, they were very visible at night. Since they are 6000K, there is a slight bluish tint in them, but not like the pictures, they are more white than what you see in the pictures (more like the first picture of the X).

Going to order mine today. My factory ones are not really noticeable during the day. Might be because I need to polish up my lights. But either way, going to order these, and the licence plate led lights. Thanks again.

from what I've read, it's the technology that is lacking in our angel eyes that is limiting the brightness. Unlike the newer BMWs which have a different type of light ring.
