Actually although they are much nicer than the factory "natural curve" tips, sorry to burst your bubble but they are a good looking aftermarket tip but are not the OE 4.6/4.8 tips, they are a bit smaller and a slightly different shape.

Again, much better than the "natural curve" of the 3.0 from the factory lol

According to Otto - they were lopped off a 4.6 and welded on?

But you're right - I must have heard wrong, but they do appear welded.

All good - there is a pic floating around of mine with the 4.8iS exhaust and the tips are larger and less rounded than yours - although like I said, anything is better than the natural curve stock tips, so its a plus!

Pulled my inner tails last night to polish them up, noticed the euro rear fog socket with a knockout. Looked around, didn't see anything - there a thread where someone has wired in another bulb for Quad tails?
