Thanks for the additional info. My X5 has already been converted to CHF 11s. The power steering reservoir cap has a red line marked across the "ATF OIL ONLY" and "11S" in big red letters over it.

^in that case your good to go. It's the exact same fluid (the one you previous linked and the one with the genuine BMW part number) down to the packaging.

ECS, My specs show the transmissions requires 9.5L. Why does the kit only come with 7L?

Kevin, shoot me a PM with the model and such on your X and I'll look and let you know. Most likely it's due to the fluid held in the torque converter, you will not be draining all the fluid from it during a standard transmission service.
