Yes I see it now. The height does look like my 4.8is now. That's why I couldn't tell compared to just the after pics. Thanks. Looks much better now.

Bigwave, did you also replace the shocks? I'm planning to lower my X in the near future and was wondering if I also needed to replace the shocks. Mine is non-sport. Your X looks great by the way.

For that reason..... I did not go with Eibach Pro Line springs or H&R...
Here is mine with B&G S2 .

i didnt replace the shocks they seem to be ok, im happy with the ride height although as i think huntertec said in a another thread he wished he had gone lower, i to had hoped it would be lower, when you see the car the wheels now look centered in the wheel opening. i didnt want that slammed look , im happy with the subtle look, and you really have to stand next to it to appreciate the difference, when i to looked at the pics i was struggling to see the difference

another 10mm would have been better, that said though the improvement in ride quality takes away any negatives.

now whats next, exhaust or wheel arch extensions hmmmmm have to think about that

Do these cars have coil spring pads like Mercedes' do?

When I lowered my old Merc with H&Rs and Bilstein Sport shocks I replaced the coil spring pads to the thinnest ones available. Good for around 5mm additional drop IIRC.

Nice looking ride, keep the mods coming!

I think it lowered just nicely. Its very noticeable when you compare to stock and the fact that you lost no ride confort ,make it even better.Anymore than the 30mm and it would put a strain on your shocks.
Btw,hope they cut the shocks, rubber stops by 30mm!

It's definitely lowered, even though not much. I would go w/ B&G S2 springs as mrbmwX5.
