I tried pressing up for around a minute, but no help.
Yea from fully closed position, that means shade closed too, you push up and hold it up for over a minute. You only let go when the shade closes back up. As in fully closed again.

Don't matter. I did it with car off. As long as there is good power to the sunroof. I also did it with car running while in traffic. So either will work.

The sunroof might have to be in a certain position for it to move for re-initialization. So maybe you have to manually move it to the fully closed position, shades closed, for it to work.

Did you remove the motor at all? If you did then same thing might apply. Usually on sunroof motors there are gears that line up. So, when reinstalling the motor either have the sunroof in same position (as when disassembled) or in the closed position.

Thanks guys, but pressing UP does only a small pop-up, and that is it.
Is it possible it needs to press FORWARD?

And yes, I've changed the motor some weeks ago.

Shades and sunroof closed initially, if you push UP on the switch it will open the shades a little bit and tilt the glass up. Its like a venting mode.

To reset you're supposed to push UP too but hold it like that. While holding it UP, it should start going through its motions and only let go when its finished - approx. 75 seconds?

Weird but according to this post, it says the shade should be OPEN but I'm pretty sure when I did mine everything was all closed.

Maybe try both ways.

I think this is the correct way. I'll try it and be back to you. Thanks pal

Hey Guys. How easy / difficult is it to remove the roof lining to access the tracks, or can it be done without removing? I have a similar issue - last weekend, The rear end of the pano stopped working, I.e. it is stuck in the vent position. Any DIY's around?

Yes!
The idea itself works, but mine could not complete a full cycle due to some obstruction preventing fully-opening.
Mine started the cycle correctly, but stopped on half-open.
Looks like something is broken inside. This is really a big deal

I'll update original post to add the initialization process.
