Interesting electrical issue question..
I am checking with a voltmeter, and until the car starts there is full connection. Once the car starts there is not full grounding anymore but 50 ohms of resistance. Is this normal? I have already cleaned that connection but its still happening which worries me that this may cause other electrical issues.. Any help would be greatly appreciated.. Ozzie.. X5 4.4 2001 |

Odd. Try a voltage drop test.
Meter set to Volts. Negative lead to know good ground, ideally the battery Positive lead to the ground in question. For a sensor or computer ground .1 volt is max allowable, but bmws are picky so less is better. .5 volts ok for other circuits. Sent from my SGH-i917 using Board Express |
