Body Modifications

I'm thinking about my first mods to my new 4.8is, and I wanted some opinions.

1) Will the chrome bull bar fit on the 4.8? If so, anybody got any pics of a black one with it?

2) The lower front brush guard, will that mod work on a 4.8? Is that a painted piece (silver), or is it brushed aluminum, etc?

3) Running boards. Anybody thought about polishing out the aluminum on those for a chrome look? I have access to a full shop, and I could do that pretty easily.

I just think the finishes should match on your exterior mods. So, if you add a chrome bull bar, it should have chrome(ish) running boards, etc.

Thanks for any input!

1. I don't think the bull bar will fit 4.8 front bumper although I'm pretty sure you can make modification.

2. You mean the stainless steel underride guard? The other one is a plastic piece that can be painted body color.

3. What about the black rubber rivets? Are you leaving them on or removing them all together? Chrome OEM RB would be unique.

And may I suggest some Chrome 22s to match all your chrome accessories. ( )

What 22's would look good on a car like his? Does BMW make 22's?
