Was anybody aware of a kit being available,if so did anybody successfully use it? Beisan Systems - Products They have a really nice write up as well Beisan Systems - Procedures - M62TU Vanos Procedure

I wish I knew about the kit. I replaced my vanos when I did the chain guides. I would have saved $1100 for the two vanos.
Very comprehensive DIY you found.

to be honest,if I known about this 4 years ago,I could've saved at least $5000 on an engine swap.
Last night,when I found this link,I was extremely happy. It really saves a lot of money. Now I am diagnosing my engine,step by step.First I need to change the chain tensioner.If it's not helping,drop an oil pan and see if there's any plastic from broken rails.And if there any,I am gonna get this kit and VANOS + Timing components get replaced! I had them replaced last year for both of my M54 engines. Beisan has a very thorough procedure.
