Is X5 Front/Rear Bumper upgradable to X5 M Series

I have a 2006 X5 4.8is and would like to know if the front and rear bumpers are upgradable to the X5 M series. I have attempted to look for information on the forum and am having touble finding any usable thread. If anyone has any information on what is needed or were I could find it, I would be greatly appreciated.

If you're referring to the current (2010+) model, then no. Your Best bet (and looking IMO, as far as body kits go) would be the factory aero kit.

he already has E53 iS... at this point he should look at AC Schnitzer, Hartge, etc... i dont think mounting points on E53 are the same as E70..

The aero kit is not what comes on the iS models.

As far as any kit goes though, IMO none look nearly as nice as a 4.8is...

IMO...you can Fuse a X5M bumper into X5 4.8is bumper.........it will cost a lot more...but Fusing bumpers VIP Style is the way to go.....

Thanks for the posts. I actually found a dealer that still offers the aero kit, but it will take the parts department a few weeks to figure out exactly what is needed for my vehicle since most of the parts are discontinued. I will still be interested in anyone else has any further ideas that they can offer.

If you are looking to enhance the look of your X then I would consider the following:

Depo headlights
Add spacers to the wheels for "flush" look, or replace wheels with aftermarket
Lower it with Eibach springs
Window tint
LED tail lights
Replace worn or faded trim pieces
Wrap the entire car in a vinyl wrap color of your choice
etc etc etc
