Why didn't you ask your mechanic what needs to be replaced? No one here can really answer this for you, but yes, it is very likely you have failing parts. Most likely the alignment you did was a waste of money, because if you are at the limit, any variation in load will put you over limit.

Those parts would be suspension related. They may include left and right sway bars, upper and lower control arms and bushings (front, rear, left & right).

For future reference, order of operations: diagnose ---> repair ---> alignment.
It'll save you wasting money like you just did. Now if you have to start replacing suspension parts to get you're values back within spec you're going to need another alignment after. Alignment with these trucks is not something Id hedge my bets on.....if its out you'll start eating through tires quickly.

hi iv just replaced every bush and arm on the rear its not a big job really all tolls can be hired for removing bushes arms just bolt on easy and cheap really, a quick and easy way to check what needs replacing is to release the pressure out of the rear air bags make sure you remove the fuse for the compressor then jack the rear up and get under it and get someone to shaxk the wheels and you will see play feel round till you find worm parts, releasing the air from air bags is essential as it releaves pressure of conponants, do a search on youtube and you will find easy steps

Thanks for replies. What happened was the rear bearings were shot and had to be replaced. Both rear tires wore unevenly. Front end was checked and nothing wrong per mechanic Just that alignment was off (which i knew just didnt have time to get it taken care of). Alignment has made a huge difference in drivability. I was just checking to see if there is anything specific to our x5 that would be needed to be replaced.
