I actually checked the cv joints but they were not torn or worn out any other?

Clicking is the characteristic sound of CV joint. Like previously stated, most other components either bang, clunk or sqeak; You can't rely on the condition of the boots as being indicative to the condition of the joint.

Can you "feel it" anywhere in the vehicle (through the seat, steering wheel, or by your feet)? If its the sway bar links, just find a speed bump somewhere and go over it diagonally...even at a walking pace, you should hear/feel a bad link.

Ninja... did you ever get this solved? I'm searching for possible causes as i'm experiencing a similar issue.

Thanks,

JJ
