As for the ride; since I set my system up a bit differently than the factory system 4.8 system (details of which are probably to complex to get into for the purpose of this thread) IMO it's miles better than the factory non-sport setup my truck came with originally. Its a bit firmer, sure, but definitely remains comfortable and well mannered for daily use!
I guess i will be sticking to my sport suspension for now...i know that air suspension can be problematic, but the options it gives you.... one day, one day...

I retained the factory 3.0 system as I like how discrete it is. To install the 4.8 tips I had a set of Y-pipes whipped up to which we welded a flat 1/4" steel flange with the appropriate circles cut to slip the outlets of the Y through. It was all welded from the back side before being welded into the tip itself. I did it that way so you can't see through the tip....a more 'factory-ish' look one could say.
I have been debating about either to install a full new exhaust or just go for cosmetic change... looking at your car, i think that having just the tips installed should do the trick for me, thanks!

OP, sorry for hijacking your thread... i am done now

^^ IMO, people fear air suspension because they falsely assume it to be just as maintenance free as a set of coils. If you want it to work well and last, you have to look after it....and boy is it worth the effort!!

I did the 4.8 tips strictly as a cosmetic item to give the rear a bit more presence....the factory poop chutes just don't cut it.

Great looking car! Really gave me some ideas (especially the roof rails coming off).

Just wondered, what style wheels are they?

Cheers, Kev.

I like your AEs. The wheels seem to fit the X well.
Your pictures need more contrast and saturation. I don't like how part of the X get chopped off in some pictures.
