You can just add the flares for the front ( any of the kit that made for running board or not ) just cut the taps off and put it to use.

Note. I gave away the front flares ( just the flares with out the wheels arch to Ucrewx5jr and his dad Jeff (Ucrewx5) put that sucker on in less then 5 min)

But if you don't have them to start you still have to buy them regardless.

What I'm saying was they don't have to get the right parts for car with or with out running board .. They can just buy the flares for cars that have running board and still can use for none running board cars...
Happy modding ...

That would be a total waste of time when you can just buy the flares that are made for without running boards. I could see if you found a used set and they were for running boards you could modify them to work, but, it makes no sense if you buy them new and have to modify them when you can buy exactly what you need.

Yea. No. Flares, the front and rear lemans flares, are separate than the wheel arches they are attached too. What he means is that you can put the same flares on running board wheel arches, and wheel arches without running boards.

When you buy running boards, the arches come flat, no flares. You have to attach your flares to the running board wheel arches yourself. I even have a how to somewhere on this site.

I totally understand what he's saying. All I was saying is if you go and buy the lemans flares brand new why not just buy the correct ones without rigging them. He rigged them on with screws.

They are correct. Lol. What he did was smart. He clipped the tabs off the flares and put in a tiny ass screw from the bottom. He can thus remove arches and sell them separate from car when he sells it.

Bmw mounts flares like below.
They mount by making holes in your arches and a tab ( that he breaks off) goes through with a metal teeth thing holding from inside. Your wheel arches are permenantly fucked. You have to make about 10 holes per rear arch. 1/4” by 1”. If you go to sell arches, you can’t. You will be left with 50 holes visible from the sides, fenders and rear bumper. This method also takes about 10 hours. You have to remove your wheel arches, that’s like 100 blind rivets, remove rear bumper, buy all those clips and rivets. Molest every arch and rear bumper. I did mine this way. And it was epic.

Mrbmwx5 is also an OG mod king. I suggest you even search his name and see the stuff he pulled off for the X.

I see what you’re saying! Makes sense. I never thought about it from that angle!
