where did you get those from? how much?
IIRC, somebody pointed out that the Sessanta were narrower than other brands even thou they have same specs, is this the same case with Vortis?

Locally here from Town Fair Tire via a special order. Vredestein is in NJ....
Apollo Vredestein Tyres North America Inc. 13 Bridge Street Metuchen N.J. 08840 U.S.A. Telephone: 1 732 549 2440/800 221 3422 They are the same "size" as the Sessanta's which I had but they are noticeably wider, like the Diamaris

I wonder how the wear is compared to the sessantas. Mine are wearing fast.

Thanks for the dealer info, and they look wider than the sessantas...
I just bought my Conti DSWs and while they are good, not really impressed with them during cornering... Would probably look into Vortis as my next set. Let us know what you think of them, so keep driving, lol...

I am in need of a new set of tires for my 2011 X5 sport. I am ready to buy a set of Vredestein's, but which one? My local dealer is recommending the Sessanto's. You've had these Vorti's now for 7 months. Can you provide a comparison between the two? Are the Vorti's as quiet.

I swapped out to my winter setup in November so I've been riding the Vredestein Winter tires since then. I can state that they handle better and are quieter, and "look" wider than the Sessanta's

I am located in Canada. My dealer is unable to get the Voriti for my X5. According to him it could be 6 months before they are available here. I checked ebay and other dealers in the US. I can't find any. There are Vorti's, just not my sizes. I need the tires pretty quick, so my only option right now is the Sessanta.
My dealer has installed a lot of the Sessanta's on the X5 (20" staggered). Most are getting about 35,000 km's (21,000 miles) on the rears, and 50,000 km's on the front (30,000 Miles). 21,000 miles! That's it? I currently have 28,000 miles on my rear OEM Dunlop RFT's and there is still 40% tread left (but my fronts are completely worn out). |

Seem everyone is running all-season rubber on their Xs.
I'm bucking the trend and waiting for Conti to release the ContiForceContact in X sizes.
