I would put some lubricant on the ears of the pads where they contact that caliper only.

+1. Just put a drop of Hi-temp Syn Brake grease on every sliding point where the pad backing plate contacts the pad carrier and caliper.

You answered your own question.
always use brake grease when doing pads. Squeal is caused by vibration in the areas where the pad contacts the metal of the caliper. If you don't apply grease to these areas you're just asking for noisy brakes. |

Thanks for the replies guys! I got this CRC Disk Brake Quiet from a friend. This should help it stop making noises right?

That will be fine, like I said though just on the outer ears (contact surfaces).
Don't slab it all over the back of the pad and make a mess lol

I always put some on the piston of the caliper where it contacts the pad as well. Just a light film, nothing crazy. Basically you want it anywhere there is metal on metal contact. Also, pull the caliper off the slide pins and grease those as well.

I've found the Hi-temp grease on the pad ear slide points works good, I never use the adhesive goo brake quiet products.

The ears of the pads need to be lubricated with high temperature caliper grease, where the pads contact the calipers. The product you show is designed to be painted on the backs of the pads. It is a plastic goop. Over time, it squeezes out. It is more of a band aid solution. If you try and use it on the pad ears, it will not stay there. Use the right product first. Nothing wrong with CRC as a brand, they even make the correct product:

I use the CRC Ceramic brake grease. Stuff lasts forever and the brakes are as quiet as a mouse. It's expensive compared to other brake grease, but I won't use anything else.
