E53 front fogs to act as cornering lights - is it possible?

hello folks.

i have a question and hopefully somebody has an answer or can direct me in the right direction... i already posted it on bmwcoding forum...

i wonder if the front fog lights in E53 (NSW) can function as cornering lights a la E70 and newer cars?

Thanks...

I wondered this a while ago, as I was watching a newer X turn the corner. The only issue I have with it is that since it's not a feature you see on many vehicles these days, it looks a bit odd when you're sitting in the turning lane waiting for a light with one foglight on.....nevertheless... despite my rambling, I AM curious to know if it's a possibility!

I have to ask why? Most of us with the e70 hate them and have them coded off

I'm still wishing there was a function that could pop the wipers up to vertical when the car is turned off just so I don't have to fiddle with the wiper stalk and turning the car off at the right second while washing my car

Yes Sir,

with an e-light module you can program that. As a lot of other features.

Not sure if this is a standard but my wipers go up when I have them in interval and turn off the car. Did you try that?

Best Regards, Helmuth

So when you have the wiper stalk one notch up from off (i.e. rain sensing /interval mode) , and turn off the car, the wipers pop up?

Yes, they move up and stay vertical.
