Cool I'll stop by the dealer today and pick that seal-up-then. Just to make sure my Indy has it and isn't tempted to reassemble with the old seal....

Just to double-check. #8 is the only seal I need to have on hand? In a previous post someone was mentioning seal #7

wouldn't hurt to get that one also .I didn't replace that one since it was not leaking but there no end with these seals,o-rings,gaskets.

Alternator bracket leak?

Well - I dropped it off at my Indy this morning. Two hours later I get a call. They misunderstood the job. They thought it was going to be a coolant leak repair. Not a oil leak repair. We're looking more like $700.

I suspected they weren't clear on the job. I tried to make sure we were crystal clear, but I guess that didn't work out.

...cheaper than mine, but there may have been some diagnosis hours in my $950, not sure how that works out.

Still have a drip but I don't know if that's residual oil from it heavily leaking.

well...expansion tank just blew, so I've got that drip now too. In the last 200 miles. Water Pump, Expansion Tank, Alternator Bracket Gasket, Pulleys, Belts, Coolant Hoses.

I've had the valve covers done, missed on the opportunity for the timing cover (my fault)

Worst part, I was going to trade the car in a month ago, but didn't know my company car situation. Held on to it and shit happened. I guess I'm catching up on borrowed time at 110,000
