Dsp sound adapter to work with aftermarket dvdgps with factory DSP amplifier...(New)

Hello , i am planning to install aftermarket dvdgps for BMW X5 2005 E53 3.0 dashboard. car has cd player and radio with DSP button so DSP amplifier in the trunk left wall. i just found on ebay the following link that someone is selling DSP sound adapter which is fully compitible with E39 AND E53 which car has already dsp. generally after market doesnt give sound with aftermarket multimedia but what they claim is it is possible with their small adapter just doing little wirings. so we can save money for aftermarket amplifier and speakers. and they says that it give s sound in all 12 premium boss speakers plus. this adapter converts analog signals from aftermarket multimeida to DIGITAL format and send to DSP amplifier and not only that it send low frequency signals under 4 volt which is generally more suitable for DSP factory amp.

Adapter for Acquisition of DSP Amplifiers at BMW Harman Kardon Nokia Top CA | eBay

price they are asking is 300 usd incl shipping...any opinion or any other suggestion please?

where chinese aftermakret multimedia mfg. suggested just to by pass DSP amplifier and connect 4 DOOR SPEAKERS directly without factory DSP AMP. SINCE MULTIMEDIA HAS ALREADY BUILT IN DSP amplifier so it will give better sound in 4 door speakers. BUT I AM WORRIED ABOUT TO LOOSE SOUND IN REST OF THE TWITTERS AND SUBWOOFERS.
PLS HELP
THANKS

I havent seen anyone here try that yet.

One option for you is to install a Dynavin N6, which a few here have already installed and it works with the DSP system. There is a long thread on the first page about it.

If you do try that, please post your experience, that adapter is a nice concept if it works.

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
Also Bavaudio (bavsound.com) makes a nice set of upgraded speakers for DSP models that are plug and play.

Interesting, that is the first I have seen of this. If you don't already have a headunit though, I think it better and easier to go with the Dynavin route as g300d suggested. If you already have the headunit, you can give this a try and let us know how it works. Me personally, if I keep my X, I will be going the Dynavin route and going with just front components and a rear sub powered by a 5 channel amp and that's it (maybe put some midbass/midrange speakers in the rear for rear fill).

pls help me with color code ofwires on amplifier big 15 pin

i would like to just bypass DSP amplifier and connect just main 4 door speaker directly to the aftrmakret unit. though i know the color code from rear side of the aftermakret unit but i would like to connect it dorectly to amplifier out put to speakers wires and it has 15 pin so anybody would know particular color code for front and rear door big speakers pls...thanks
my special thanks to everyone and mike can you tell me which is the best 5 channel amplifier.? and how many watts i should buy? i heard that there r some soundstream stealth very small amplifier but with 4 channels only...would mike suggest me pls something 5 channell amplifier and what other accessories would i need pls?....thank you

i also checked with bavsound . they said that 527 for stage 1 upgrade and it will only work with existing DSP amplifier.and i dont have multimedia in dashboard now so with bavsound upgrade i would only listen the music but i will not be able to watch dvd. if in install after market dvd then bavsound speakers will not work thats what they told me so i was thinking to buy this dsp adapter from ebay in germany but they said NO GURANTEE...for 300 usd?....so the best bet looks to me is to just bypass dsp amplifier with new 5 channel amp.

Great upgrade, have had set for many years. You can also add a Grom or a Mediabridge to get USB, bluetooth, Aux. All controlled by existing buttons.

thanks ricky but the only issue i am having is i already have my aftermarket dvdgps dashboard unit purchased and it gives me NO SOUND when i connected to desparately either i am looking to replace with aftermarket 5 amp or temporrary i can connect 4 pair of door spekaers directly from the rear of my aftermarket unit to the speakers wire on big output 15 pin amplifier plug but i dont know the pin number and particular color for 4 door main speakers. that way i would simply bypass DSP amplifier and i would use built-in DSP amplifier of aftermarket unit. can you help me with big dsp amp 15 pin plug description pls
thank you so much ricky again

Search on here, there is thread that shows which color wires correspond with what. Or just take your door panels off and look at the speaker wires. They are the same color in the back coming out of your amp. If you want to make sure you have the correct pair, hook in a 9v battery and see which speaker pops.

And I have a Alpine PDX V9. It's pricey, but it is tiny and puts out 100x4 and 500x1. In my e46 M3 I ran all four channels to one set of Boston Pro 60's, 100 watts to the woofer and 100 watts to the tweeter. And then 500w to a JL 8W7. Used the old Dynavin (D99). Sounded amazing.

Here you go: http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...placement.html

Are you adding aftermarket speakers or using the stock ones?
