Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
For the millionth time, the actual OPTICS of the rings don't allow for much, increased "brightness" over stock. It's more for the crisp white color.

If you are buying those and expecting to have E70 brightness as far as angel eyes is concerned, you WILL BE disappointed.

Those 32W bulbs look great, and should keep you happy. But I wouldn't spend any more money than that because you won't get any brighter.

Me too. I'll do the left first and snap a pic for a comparison. Meanwhile, the other company is taking these back because the connector doesn't fit right

Yer. We get it.

But there are 10w LEDs and there are 10w LEDs. My Umnitza VXX are 10w, same as OPs original set.......and they are a lot brighter.

My New 2006 X5 4.4i

That's a great effort. Mine took 2 whole days - and the camera took another 2 days!

Do you love it?

I do love it. I'm still trying to get the brackets to make the hu fit flush but I should have that sorted soon. I'll post up some pics when I'm at my computer.

So I got the 32w ae bulbs installed. They are much brighter then the 10w bulbs. Huge difference. I don't have any day shots but you can tell from this night shot the 32w bulbs are a lot brighter.

It is plug and play. Unfortunately, the connectors were the same as the last set. They are very loose when plugging in the factory plug to the aftermarket plug. I crimped down the female plugs on the factory connector just a bit to assure a solid connection. Then I put a zip tie on each connector to hold them together. I don't think I'll ever have a problem with them coming loose.

This is where I purchased them. E53 32W CREE LED Angel Eye Bulbs

I was looking at other LED lights but i haven't made a decision on which to buy yet. I definitely want to do the license plate lights and reverse lights and possibly the fog lights.

I've ordered the same .... I was thinking that my existing white angel eyes (loose) are kind of hold by the tight plastic cover box... Anyway will check with the new one.g

As for the license plate, did some research and i've ordered those : here is the technician reco for our model
The license plate bulbs for your BMW are listed as 6418 which are the 36 - 39 mm festoons

You will want to measure the bulb to be sure which length you need, tip to tip.

The chips work with most but not with all bulb out warning systems, so sometimes there is some trial and error involved in finding the right match for your car. Unfortunately, I do not know what chips are required for your specific car since it really is specific to each vehicle, not even to each make/model/year.

The festoon canbus leds are on this page here:

Both the Cree XPE:

and the 5050 8 smt are really nice options.
