Anyone tried the Depo LCI tail lights for pre face?
Anyone seen these installed and working alongside OEM? Supposed to be bolt on and no coding on pre face E70, and look exactly like the LCI LED ones. Very well priced. 600 AUD is about 450 USD. Have seen even better prices on other sites. Asking because I want OEM look. |

they are literally exact replicas, dont to the bulb carriers and everything. i even swapped in my OEM bulb carriers to compare if they made any difference (they did not). they come with the harness to cancel the errors, but i am not using them since my car is LCI. fitment is good. there really is no reason to get OEM |

Thanks guys. Just hoping the Depo ones can cope with sun and wear over time. They haven't been top notch back in time for E36/E46. That's a lot of years back though. Love to hear from someone that has run Depo on any car recently.

I had some on my e36 as well and thought they were fine. Certainly not the best thing on the market but for their cost and given the age of the car (even way back when I had it) they were perfectly adequate.

mine suffered from a really bad light pattern, the cutoff was completely washed out, virtually nonexistent, that i ended up either having to turn them down so far that i barely got to see anything or blinding all oncoming traffic. put OEMs back in, problem solved. obviously rear lights won't be suffering from this but i wouldn't be at all surprised if they come with their own host of issues.
once bitten...
