Are those really fixable? I saw those and the broken one looked beyond repair.

I believe it is. I have seen wheels like that fixed before. If not, I was only really after the rears anyways. The other 3 are fine. Just a bit of curb rash. Hard to pass up for $400.

Just got the tires dismounted. $26. One thing I noticed is that these wheels have the number "15" stamped into the front face (near the lug holes), while the 214s on my X5 don't. Based on what I can find, replica wheels do NOT have the "15" stamped on them. So the 214s that came with my X5 may be reps... Odd given that 214s were the OEM wheel my X5 came with.

Edit: well I think it is pretty clear. The 214s that came on my X5 are reps. They are not even the same shape as the OEM ones (front and rear have different amounts of concave). Excellent.

Update: Turns out the cracked is not worth fixing. At the going aluminum scrap price of $0.50/pound I'll get about $16 for it.

Yep, got $16 for it this morning. Now to clean up and sell the other 20x10 wheel. What do you think one 20x10 style 214 is worth, refinished? There's someone on CL right now offering two 20x10 style 214s for $295 each... I think that's a bit much.

Found another 20x11 rear for $250. Now I just need to find one more and then I can get them powder coated. Waiting for warmer weather to refinish the extra 20x10 style 214 wheel I have.

Well I found the fourth 20x11 wheel to complete the set. Now off to powder coating... $220 for all four. I'm trying to decide between gloss black and satin black. Opinions?

I agree! I will post pictures up soon. I will have one of the front wheels off this weekend (oil thermostat gasket...), so I can take a picture of a 20x11 wheel up front (spoiler alert, it fits ) The remaining two wheels will be here next week.

True. I just don't want it to look like a plasti-dip job. That look is all too common.
