eBay halo LED

I'm super confused with how the chips and errors work in these H8 LED. Can someone confirm if these would work for halo upgrades? https://www.ebay.ca/itm/262681402350

where to begin...
it all depends on what type of lamp the vehicle is looking for. LED or HID retrofit kits to replace an incandescent element would usually include a shunt of sorts (simplified) that would fool the module into seeing an intact lightbulb. i'm presuming you're planning to replace pre-LCI halogen halo with an aftermarket LED.
apart from the subject already having been discussed to death several times over on various BMW forums you also didn't really include a lot of info about the vehicle you're talking about which doesn't help either. general consensus seems to be to go with the LUX kit. or buy the ebay special and report back how it's going and how long for.

edit: i have no idea why that link is in there or why it links to an item intended for ford vehicles. apologies for the confusion if caused, i didn't do it.

if i did it wouldn't have been so shoddy

Save your money for LUX, i tried 4 different ebay ones with no success. I ended up going with amber color halogen bulbs to replace the clear oem ones and i like the amber color and they are bright. Ebay ones werent really bright for me.

I 2nd this. LUX angel eyes are the best and brightest available. Mine look great. I've had too many bad experiences with Ebay lighting. I avoid it like the plague now.

+1
Spend the extra $$s to get the LUX, and have it right the first time.
