The CCC trim plate and control doesn't fit properly so you have to hot glue it?

I'm virtually ready to begin the install, but the "adjusting" of the monitor trim (since I'm going with the 10.2 screen with the setup as shown on germaniks.com and bimmerretrofit.com) has me bothered since I haven't performed that kind of modification before. With my luck I'll trim too much and it won't fit/look right. Ahhh

Looking forward to seeing some completed installations to get my nerve up.

I also just received my trim plate, now I have to order the actual cd changer trim. Have you coded your NBT yet?

The trim plate has to be the nondvd or cic trim plate. The radio panel is now Cic.

Go slow and go slower.
Take your time.

Pretty sure I won't need the MOST Bus at all with the new NBT EVO.
I'll be eliminating the TCU, MULF/ULF and my Satelite Radio...
That's all I have in my X now.

Make sense?

Don't you have DSP Amplifier or DVD changer? Those would still need the MOST network

I have no CD changer, and my Amp is only the HiFi, so no MOST connection to it.

Your NBT will need to be coded to your amp.
NBT is not a stand alone amplified unit.

Hey M5,
Do you know, does NBT EVO support the HiFi Amp, or do I need to retrofit to the Top Audi Amp so I have a MOST connection?

Thanks,
John

If the option are the same as NBT
You will have the option to set output to HiFi amp.

If I recall there are 5 options.

FYI
The antenna splitter seems to provide worse reception than even just connecting the 2nd antenna wire and amp unpowered.
A few of my regular HD stations have been static and in out of HD.
