FWI - I was just teasin' ya

Your reply wasn't too helpful, so I thought I would set a little trap, just in fun.
(I was gonna make fun of anything you said, and you replied with the funniest of all answers)

Anyways, there is always THAT guy that has to start crap about the V8's, (regardless how off topic it is, or which website). Fact is, other high end car companies make V8's as well. The customers who buy them stomp the gas pedal down, and enjoy themselves.

I have not had reason research the Mercedes TT V8.
I'm sure it shares all the same pro's and cons as most performance engines made for and driven by amateur drivers.

Now can somebody please share some cool Mods with me ?? (like fog lights) :

I'm not sure what you thought he meant, but I'm pretty sure he meant saving money for repairs. The V8 has quite a few difficulties. Frankly it's sound advice...

I don't know what other companies making or not making V8s has to do with anything.

I wish I could delete posts like these.
They are thread crapping posts that ruin it for everyone.
I guess I could start off by "reporting" these posts, and hope a Mod zaps them. (that's a fine welcoming, thanks friend)

I am SPECIFICALLY saying "Hi" and asking about e70 mods, and you are the 2nd inmate who has "Nanniepooed" my thread by producing an off topic and quite rude post. Can't peeps like yourself just move on by, not RUIN for the rest of the group??

Don't tell me YOU have a Diesel too nannypoo

Hi Mike, thank you very much for the warm welcome.
Unfortunately I think I'm gonna run from this site faster than it took to find it.

I have zero time for internet forum gangsters, and have already been baited into replying to these "off topic assailants".

"better save your money for your V8 and forget about any help with mods"

thanks, Jerks

Jim for mods and tips go to the pull down menu called: click here "How To's" located between "Articles and FAQ" there you'll find a long list of options to explore.

No, I have the V8 as well. I must be missing what has been so condescending about the last couple posts. No harm in suggesting you take a stab at maintenance before mods. I for one was hit with 2.5k+ worth of repairs within 6 months of buying mine. I'll keep any future discussion to only mods though.

Yeah.

My other two cars are a highly modified 996TT and an M5 as a daily.

(And those 'mods' arent lighted door sills and carbon fiber stuff... lower back pressure exhaust, larger turbos, wastegate upgrades, blowoff valves, ECU programmer, rollcage, Moton 2 way suspension with remote canisters...mods that actually makes a car faster. My only visual indulgence was a set of HRE C20s in charcoal)

I'll stop being a dick now. Enjoy the car, Im sure you will find mods somewhere.

Cute, but I'm not here to copy your stile

Has anyone added DRL to the small front bottom left and right grills?
I've seen some LEDs online, a little restrictive on the airflow though ??
