Air Lift 1000 w/ coil springs?
Replaced rear bags with Arnott and even a new solenoid. Still sags over night although now it raises back up and not getting any error messages still bothers me that it's leaking. Sprayed water every where and can't find the leak. So out of frustration I was thinking of converting to coil springs but wanted to fit this Air Lift 1000 bag that people use on their trucks: https://www.airliftcompany.com/produ...air-lift-1000/ Since the compressor is still there, I was thinking of putting this in to keep the error message from popping up and at the same time still have a semi-functional SLS? |

I actually have that kit that I was going to install on a our VW Routan back in the day. I
I noticed the other day while cleaning up the garage the box is still sitting there. I have been kicking around the idea of adding them to the X5 since we basically bought the SUV to tow. Our little camper (1500 lbs) probably isn't heavy enough to justify them but we may get something bigger. Unfortunately when I put the little camper behind the X5 its going to lose its status as the fastest popup camper in California. Last edited by giaka; 05-17-2018 at 06:19 PM. |
