Broken Nipple to Heater Hose - Can someone help me identify the part?

This heater hose/nipple connection broke while my wife was going to work this morning (see pics). I know these aren't good pics, but was hoping someone on here would be familiar enough with the E70 to tell me which part it is I am shopping for to replace this broken nipple. I know I will eventually have to tear into it far enough to see more, but I'd like to find the new part and have it on hand before I do. This is at the very front of the engine, between the engine and fan area. Heater hose which was attached runs around toward the passenger side.

Have a look on realoem for your vehicle and see if you can locate the hose/fitting. I know there is a hose that connects to the top front of the engine using a plastic flange sealed with an "O" ring. It has two bolts. The plastic flange is junk and you can get a replacement on ebay made of aluminum complete with new "O" ring.
Much better fitting.

Thanks, I'm looking at it. A bit hard to see if I'm looking at the right thing, but maybe I can figure it out. I'm thinking maybe the hose is the cylinder head - thermostat one. Guess I'll have to search eBay for the nipple piece -- in aluminum hopefully.

Part # 7
https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=11_3755

This is the one I used.

Also check #1 here https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=17_0398

The upper radiator hose plastic also gets hot and brittle on the inside. The outside of the hose will look fine.

Thanks, I have the aluminum replacement piece ordered.

I will also probably just go ahead and replace all the hoses, but that's going to have to wait right now. Too many honey-do's to catch up on!

Certainly. What pulleys do you think are key? Serpentine tensioner?

When we got the '13 last year I had all hoses, belts and pulleys replaced. Complete refresh. Also had the water pump/thermostat and little connecting hose between them changed out.
