sport pkg, comfort and tech and executive packages in 3.5d?

https://www.kijijiautos.ca/vip/11751247

hi all, can someone tell me if its possible for the e70 diesels in north america to have all threepackages in one vehicle? I do not believe it was possible in the e53 line up so i just had to ask if this is legit or an uninformed sales pitch?

Assume everything in the ad is a lie.

Enter the VIN into a BMW options/vin decoder.

Was going to say. Get the VIN and look it up. Only way to get actual equipped option list. Sellers either don't know better, or flat out lie as ard said.

I forget what BMW calls the exec package ...in Canada...in 2013...

From a canada review of a 2013 I foud:
Quote:
It includes: Electric Steering Column Adjustment, Rear View Camera with Top View, Automatic Trunk, Panorama Sunroof, Auto Dimming Interior and Exterior Mirrors, front and rear Park Distance Control, Navigation, HiFi Sound System and more. Also added to my tester is the $3,500 Comfort and Technology Package as well as an additional $2,500 Sport Package,

In 2013, BMW sells cars with certain 'packages' that define a group of options...this is spelled out each year in an "Order Guide"...unfortunately this gets lost over time and you are stuck pattern matching individual options from a list of Sxxx numbers.

FWIW- you can search back here, on other sites, to find someone posting the "2013 E70 order guide" right around June 2012 to October 2012....it will tell you precisely which options are in which package. (However I havent looked for canadian docs...) If you really need it!

thanks Ard, having looked at the MANY photos of theis 3.5d, it looks extrememly well equipped with even the cool seats which I have been dying for for years but I'm feeling rushed to investigate this vehicle as I'm worried it will sell fast with these options, which seem a-plenty. I just am torn at pumping many thousands into my beautiful customized e53 4.4i OR pay more for a newer, apparently slightly better designed x5, and with diesel, I hear they are the best.

That’s pretty much my 2011 X5. I enjoy all those premium features except the massage seat (just feels weird, like a turtle crawling around under the leather). The cooling seats are nice in a black interior and the comfort seats are really amazing.

Diesel: I got mine around 70k miles, and the dealer records showed something like over $18k in warranty repairs in the first 60k miles. This wasn’t maintenance but things that broke. I have had a similar experience, suffering pretty much all the failures people talk about here . I would budget $2k in repairs per year, if you use a good repair shop. If using a dealer I’d budget $2500/year for repairs. I even have the pile of the failed parts as proof to myself that the parts were actually bad. Most recent ones were the eve cooler, bac lines for the turbo, vacuum modulators. This is in addition to regular maintenance of $750
A year. So, pretty unreliable compared to the Merc’s and Japanese cars, but when it’s running well it drives better than any other midsize lux SUV, and it tows the best too. I’m happy with mine and will upgrade to an 2018 F15 diesel When my E79 hits 150kmiles. To me you gotta pay to drive a BMW.

Price wise, I paid under $20k for my 1 owner, always dealer maintained mint condition, 5 year old X5d. I would try low balling that dealer and offer 20% less than they are asking.

Ok glad to hear. That yearly maintenance and repairs bill is fine by me. You do pay to play

An E53 with a diesel and available in the US would be the ultimate. I really, really like the E53 body. Good luck finding your next X5.
