Here's a trick for more room...not sure it would help.

After reviewing that thread, I feel more violated than when bmw told me $2500+ to replace the lines. I didn’t realize you could circumvent Darwin’s theories purely by luck. Thankfully, neither the previous nor current owners of my e70 mutilated it to test that theory. My parents shot all the stupid kids.
Ard, I sincerely hope you’re trying to interject some levity, and aren’t serious. If you are serious, have you thought about a career in politics?

Of course I’m not serious.

I really wanted to get more info on that scum bag, a VIN, something...so we could protect future owners. You wanna do that to your car, fine. But i bet he would sell than without a single thought.,...

I know there’s no chance you were serious. I just couldn’t pass up an opportunity to throw a shot at politicians, haha
I agree that “person” wouldn’t hesitate to sell that vehicle to anyone and sadly, it will more than likely be to someone’s child who is ignorant by virtue of inexperience, rather than this “person” (again, I use that term loosely) (who couldn’t be bothered with the technological marvel of bolts), who is ignorant purely by choice.

Regarding the bolt that is blocked by the turbo, is it possible to loosen the bolt, then rotate the line out to where a pipe cutter could spin and cut off the hose section? If yes, adding a section of off the shelf hose with fuel line clamps could be an option.
