purge valve location e70 n63 tt

I have the rough idle and I ran my foxwell scanner and it pointed me to the soninoid valve, tank ventilation. so I ordered my purge valve and I was going to do it this weekend, took a peak and I would be damned it I could not find it. anybody change 1 before on the n63 engine ? any help would be appreciated, its cold a heck hear in the northeast

Codes dont (necessarily) mean 'replace the part that BMW mentioned in the code description'...just saying


Also, Im not sure ive ever heard of an evap purge valve causing ANY engine running issues.


That v8 TT is a beast, but man it has some baggage...

hey yes im baaaaack, after the 2006 4.8is I went to a porcshe cayenne gts and that was great, but I just love the look of the 50i m sport 315 in the rear just looks mean... and yes this is a rocket.. bmw put a new engine in it because of Issues they could not resolve.

my trusty Roswell scan tool gave me the option to capture live data, when I got to solenoid valve I deactivated it and it went to a rough idle and then when I turned it back on it was fine

when I looked at all the symptoms it all points to the solenoid valve, aka purge valve
