Strange thing happened today (no blinker lights on dash etc.)

Hello guys,

I ran into a strange problem with my pre-LCI X5 today. I was driving all day long without issues and shortly before going home I stopped by a shop to get some food.

When I started driving home I noticed that my turn signal lights were not working on the dashboard. On the outside they were working fine, though.

When I got home I started checking if something else was not working so what I was able to spot was:

- no dash turn/hazard signals
- no dash high beam indicator
- instrument cluster ambient lightning not working (rest of dash OK)
- blinkers not flashing when locking/unlocking the car (from the outside this time)
- mirror anti-theft lamp not blinking when the car is locked
- no dome lights when unlocking the car (working fine when the dome light button pressed)

After a few locks/unlocks of the car everything started working fine.
Checked the codes and out of the ordinary, these popped up:
D907 - Bus off
E097 - Message (dimming 0x202)
A3B0 - CAN_ID_202_ERROR_Ausfall_Botschaft_Dimming
A3B4 - CAN_ID_21A_ERROR_Ausfall_Botschaft_Lampenzusta
E2C7 - Bus communication error

Also checked for moisture in trunk/footwells/engine bay - only found quite a lot of water in the driver's side trunk boot (below the tail light) but this is not really the first time there is water in there and on a side note, I am not really sure where it is coming from as I have no sunroof and changed the tail light with a new one.

I must also mention that it is quite rainy here for the past couple of days.

Any ideas what might have happened?

Did you ever find the cause of this issue, and were you able to fix it?
