Ditched the runflats, and life is so much better. What do you run?

I'm looking into the mini spare for my e70 and wife's F10.

I have a full set of winter tires that I can use one as a spare but they are in my storage so I would have to deal with getting one to me in case of failure.

I do consider throwing one on my hitch rack for longer trips though.

I run Kumho SOLUS on a different vehicle. It is great tire but the thread wear is really bad. I got the current set pro-rated when the previous wore down to the markers.

Andrew, the most cost effective way to get a donut spare when I did it a few years ago was to buy the rim (ECSTuning had best price at time) and tire (discounttiredirect at the time) separately. You also end up with a relatively fresh tire that way.

What, you mean my 2002 production full size spare in the trunk of my E53 is SUSPECT???



Kidding... good to know you can get a new donut rim. Ebay has some with tires but they are like $300.
