any pics of X5 without the sport??
i think every picture i came across shows the black trim.. haven't seen an X5 with anything other than that... i visited the dealer and everything in the lot had the sport pkg.. does anyone have a pic of an X5 w/o sport pkg?? is it that much of a difference??

we didnt get the sport package but did get the black trim. i was pleasantly surprised. my guess is it came in black because we took the rear climate package with tinted rear and side glass..

surely it does have sport as that wheel option is an upgrade from the dynamic package, i see the new msport comes with the chrome on too which seem weird!
that picture you have there was in the uk brochure, prehaps our spec is different then ! heres some pictures of the uk version of the m sport http://www.x5drivers.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=1952 |

i also ordered the rear climate pkg w/privacy glass so hopefully it'll come with black trim... not too crazy about the chrome look....but if it comes like that i'll live with it!! can't be that bad with the space gray!

I think 3.0si without sport is non-glossy black, and 4.8i without sport is chrome.

Pete, in your thread you are saying that you have sport suspension.. so does your X have sport or not?
Also this is Euro spec car, so I we can also assume that it maybe different for US. I am due to take delivery on 3.0si without sport next week and hope that it is black. I will report back with photos on delivery. Quote:

In my car I chose the sports suspension settings as a separate stand alone option (Sports suspension settings - are stiffer springs and dampers), but not the dynamic package - primarily because I don't like the 213 alloys or the black headliner. I also went with standard seats with the electric option. Adaptive drive is a stand-alone option in Europe costing £2300 (GBP) .....i.e. about 4800 USD at current exchange rate!
