LED-Lights for the Licence Plate

This is something for the really individual X5-Drivers among yourselves !

Maybe it will be conspicuous to you, that the new BMW 3-Series has white LED-Lights built-in for the Licence Plate. A Friend of my told me now, that the same LED-Lights will also work on the X5. So yesterday, it couldn't wait and run to my BMW-Dealer and he had right. It fits !

It was simply to install, the BMW-Engineer got less than an hour for it and it looks great ! I think, this is a really "low-budget Tuning" for your X5, the costs are between 50 and 80 Dollars.

Here's a picture ! (sorry, the upload doesn't work at the moment... i try it later)

Greetings from Switzerland...

I wonder if this will help the backup camera's lighting... or maybe hurt it with glare?

I thought there was light back there already though.
