Noise in the car

Hi to everyone
I'm new on this forum. I'm a X5 E70 owner since a couple of days, and when I'm driving, I sometimes hear a noise wich seems to come from the door next to the driver. Has anyone had this problem before? It really is unpleasant ...
Thank you all

What kind of noise? My cabin is very noisy. It sounds as if I have a window open without the gush from the wind. Another member said he had issues with the window seals. I had the technicians take a ride with me. I have an appointment on Tuesday.

An NO BRIAN, it's not the window deflectors

My 08' 4.8i had this for about a month. Mine almost sounded like a loose piece of plastic or something. I couldn't tell if it was the door, the dash, or the pillar next to the windscreen.

It did go away on it's own...Thank God. Since dealerships are horrible at these "fixes".

either wind noise from the sideview mirror or tires.... double checking the windows for seal and proper closure is a good idea too.

It's the pretty same thing with mine. Something like plastic, very difficult to localize. It appeared on the right side of the car, more or less disappeared on this side bu came to the left side since yesterday (the door? the window? the seat?). I'm going to take it back to BMW next week (they already checked but didn't find anything).

Perfect timing mrbmwx5

My baby is at the dealer now, they're changing window motors today. Now I'll tell them how to fix it.

Also, check the rear seat latch on the respective side - we've had a few rattles from this location. That is before a rubber mallet was used

Cheers,
