Does BMW do X5/X6 plant deliveries?

I've been lurking researching info on an BMW X5/X6. And thought I'd post my first goofy question.

I know this is an odd question. I've taken delivery of three of my last Corvette's @ The National Corvette Museum across from the Corvette Plant. I wanted to get European delivery of my Audi S6, but the Euro/Dollar being what it is; the trip would have been too expensive.

Does BMW have a delivery package in South Carolina? That would make a great road trip back though the Smokies Mountains down to Louisiana. It would definitely make the wife happy, as it's her vehicle. Maybe even take a stroll though the Tail of The Dragon.

My Z06 is a 2006, I love it. I'm on a waiting list for a ZR1. Just have to talk myself into that tacky clear hood section. I'll probable get an aftermarket carbon fiber hood to replace it.

I think it was a great experience. They put you in whatever vehicle you are picking up and give a you mini-Driver's Ed course. My wife had never tracked a car of any type, and I'd not even considered it in an SUV, altho have tracked Porsches. The X5 was incredible. Wished for a manual 6 speed!

And everyone is offered the off road course, tho we were the only X buyers. Everone else that wanted to got an X3. I could not believe how well the Xs all handled it. Up on two wheels over the hill. Leaning to the side at an impossible angle later on!

Factory tour was canceled do to turnover from 07 to 08, but we did get to see an X6 on the track in disguise.

I forgot to ask what the charge is for delivery? And do they still add destination charge to the vehicle price?
