I experienced the alarm via motion sensor for the first time yesterday. I never really heard the alarm to any extent before then. What a poor excuse for an alarm though - too quiet. I love the features with door locks and motion sensor, but the most important aspect - I may not even hear it from inside the house with a tv on.

rh71 - Did you install or have the dealership install your Aero Kit?

Dealer did it - though there's a do-it-yourself guide here somewhere...

Was on vacation is Spain and my alarm went off as well during the warmer part of the day. Agree that the sound it makes is a bit of a joke.

Disabled the motion sensor as per post above and the problem did not re-occur.
