2008 X5 Navigation Vocals and Sirius

My navigation voice sounds like she has a cold!

With Sirius on, she is hard to hear and slight distorted/distant. Does anyone know of a way to control the volume of her voice? I've been flipping through iDrive (I'm traveling and my manual is at home).

Looked through my 2008 E70 manual and below are the instructions to increase the volume of navigation voice instructions.

"The voice can only be adjusted while a voice instruction is being output.
1. Repeat the last voice instruction, if necessary.
2. Turn the knob (radio volume knob) during the voice instruction to select the desire volume.

Note: This volume is independent of the volume of the audio sources. The setting is stored for the remote control currently in use."

Hope this helps. Enjoy your trip!
