Turning on Air Conditioner = Steering Wheel Vibration + Increased RPM
At the same time, whenever the A/C is on, I notice the RPM staying slightly more than when the A/C is off, when standing still (with A/C about 600RPM, and without A/C about 900RPM) Sometimes you need to turn the ignition off and start again to notice the RPM go down after turning the A/C off. Do you notice the same thing? The steering wheel vibration is becoming a bit annoying, as is the noise that comes from the bottom of the vehicle whenever I turn the fan on (not necessarily A/C) |

I don't know about vibrating steering wheel but the A/C thing is normal on ALL cars.

i think that is normal , you can feel that on the most of the cars. i think that the vibration is from the A/C compressor.

Yup, I played with it again and it comes from having the A/C compressor on.
It's just that my previous vehicle didn't have the vibration and I was sort of expecting a bit more refinement than a Dodge. That's fine though. Not a deal-breaker. |
