Exclamation Noise from the rear suspension

Ok, I actually took it to the dealer with this problem, but they needed me to leave the car for the inspection, which I couldn't do, 'cause they won't give me a loaner, so I'll have to take it in later when I can get a car to drive while the X is in. Meanwhile, I was wondering what could be causing this and why.

The noise comes mostly when going at a parking lot speed, as I turn the steering wheel to right and back to center, or when going over speed bumps.

The sound is kind of like short low frequency "tak" sound, not very loud at all, supposedly coming from the rear suspension, at least that's what I think where it's from.

Actually, it sounds very much like starting off on a hill or a steep grade, when I change from the footbrake to the throttle. The car's brake system holds it still for two seconds, right? And when you press the throttle and the brakes disengage to let the car go, a little noise comes from the back. If anyone knows how that sounds like, it's pretty much that noise coming from the back. Annoying...

It's none of that knocking noises others have been reporting. Anyone else having the same problem? (I do not have an air suspension)

check here. http://www.xoutpost.com/x5-e70-forum/...king-turn.html This is starting to be consistent problem with e70's. The more input from people the better off we satisfy our curiosity or uncover a problem

I actually have that knocking noise that sounds like stone chips being thrown around the fender, as I replied in that thread. I'm not too worried about that problem since many people are experiencing it.

But the noise that I'm hearing is different from the ones people are reporting. It sounds smaller, is of lower frequency, doesn't come from the fenders and it's most noticeable when starting the car and driving off, rather than during the middle of the driving.

If you drive with your A/C or fan off, you start to hear whole lotta things..

Noticed today that turning the steering wheel fully to left and back to center emits that noise, so it's not only to right.
