Front cigarette lighter has no power, Does it has a fuse?

Hi to all,

I had my nuvi 660 plugged for 2 weeks working just fine, will turn on when I will start the engine, and turn off automatically.

Today I removed the AC plug from the cigarette lighter soket and suddenly it stopped working. There is no power, the cigarette lighter doesn't pop or get hot. The other center and second row sokets work just fine.

Please help, any suggestions to fix it. Is there a fuse that i should check, where is it?

Anyone had this problem before?. My 2008 X5 E70 is 3 months old, this should be covered by my warranty right??, just ckecking.

Totally noob here, please help.

i believe it is just a simple fuse. I had my car short out because a dime fell into the lighter. I had the dealer swap the fuse and it worked just like new. Should be a very easy fix

Check the manual and it should tell you exactly which fuse and where the fuse box is. The actual fuse box may even have some spare fuse in there. I remember having the same issue on my E53 and it was a quick fix. Saved me a trip to the dealer.
