Mine telescopes in when turned off. I however get the "seat calibration warning" that won't go away even when I reset it according to the manual

Mine didn't telescope. But just had the software updated and now it does. Had to do the steering column reset to get it to work though (all the way up, followed by all the way down, followed by all the way in and all the way out).

Yup. The advisor told me they got an error code, so reloaded the software. Now when the car is shut off, the steering wheel goes up first, then goes in. (not sure about what you described above -- which included all the way down and all the way out -- that seem to defeat the purpose of getting the steering wheel out of the way?)

If it doesn't move up/down then your motors for your wheel might be dead. The motors in the steering wheel aren't reliable.

Mine moves up and in but had issues with it until I reset the memory seat.

Mine didn't telescope until I took my car in for body repair last week, (I think they updated the software). Now it telescopes up then in. I don't really like it, as it starts getting annoying after a while.

Mine moves in and up. When turned on, it moves out and down.
